Shoe challenge #22: so Dutch

What: H&M black ankle boots with wedge
Where: out shopping
Wearing: Zara jeans, H&M tee, H&M sweater, a big warm cardi over it and my fave Pull&Bear winter jacket, Stradivarius shawl, Reserved bag
Was having a kinda horrible day and wanted to up this up by wearing a sassy pair of wegdes. It did help a little I guess but as you can see from the last photo, I was still feeling a little bleak. Went shopping but found absolutely nothing I liked (thankfully really, since London mini-break next week, needa save up!) and so just went home and that's it. BTW I'm not kicking Dracul in the first photo or anything, he just decided to jump up on the couch the same moment the picture was taken. All 'Action pig'-ish. If you're wonderin bout the title of this post, I bought these shoes when I was on my Amsterdamn holiday two years ago..

Shoe Challenge #21: Anniversary

Last night the boy and I had our half year anniversary and we went out to celebrate. We went to the Brazil. Ambiente at Slovansky dum and ate loooads. I bought this sweater dress for the event (since it's gotten uber cold again I couldn't wear anything made out of lighter material). I also went with one of my favorite ankle boots, Bata over-the-knee boots I DIYed into ankle boots.
horrible close up of the boots..
anyways, can't seem to upload my blog to my face book page anymore, what's up with that?? It keeps telling me that the url address is non-existant, but wtf? any ideas??

Shoe Challenge #20: Deja-vu

What: Zara TRF flat ankle boots
Where: dinner with the Boy and his family
Wearing: H&M skirt, H&M turtle neck, Zara tights

You may be thinking that these are exactly the same slouchy black flat ankle boots I always wear but aha! they're not! These slouchy black ankle boots have a silver detail ankle bracelet thingy and are also brand new.. As the shoe challenge continues I am so getting sick of boots though and am longing for heels and balerina flats and summer happiness and all that. Also I need to stop by the shoe repair place cause have 4 pairs of boots/ankle boots that need repairing..
Happy weekend everyone:)

Shoe Challenge #19: remember me?

 What: Zara 'replacement' boots
Where: shopping
Wearing: sweater H&M, jeans Zara, headband Topshop
These boots were bought when I noticed that my favorite slouchy flat ankle boots had a huge crack in them and I needed something to take the pain away.. They were a TINY bit uncomfortable the first time I wore them, at the heel part of the shoe. But now they are just fine (huge relief since I was really scared they'd stay hurting me). I love that they're a perfect shade of brown and the gold stud detailing. A simple boot but still interesting with the slouchiness and all..

Going to sleep now, tiiiiiiiiired!

Shoe Challenge #18: DIY!

What: Zara leather boots I turned into ankle flats
Where: going to the doctor's, meeting with my landlord
Wearing: Zara skinny jeans, Zara pocket detailed shirt, Bershka sweater, Bershka coat, Topshop bag and ear-muffs
Yesterday when I went to my parents' house I picked these boots up from the stash I still keep over there. I bought them two years ago I think and worn them a few times but I never really liked how the top part of the boot looked (a bit too saggy and just wasn't me), so I cut them up and turned them into ankle boots. They still need a little bit of sowing and I'd like to add some nice studded detailing but I think this DIY was a great idea:)

What about you.. do you ever DIY project things do don't wear or not?

Shoe Challenge #17: Re-boot-ed

What: Zara slightly 'western' leather boots
Where: wine out with the Boy and a friend
Wearing: Zara TRF tee, Zara black skinny jeans, H&M sweater, Bershka winter coat, Topshop ear-muffs, Topshop fake fur bag
These boots were always one of my favorites but I haven't worn them as much this winter. Although they have a great shape and suitable heel  (i.e.tiny), they are slippery on ice, which is ridiculous really?! But I have so many pairs of slippery winter boots that I've stopped judging.. So anyways, I only wear them when there's no snow and no ice to be on the safe side. I once almost couldn't get to where I was getting in these boots (when a dear friend of mine had a going-away party/photoshoot. Remember these photos?)

Yeah.. well anyways, yesterday was perfect for them weather wise and the night-out was perfect fun:) Perfect perfect perfect. Oh! And I stopped by my parents' house and brought home some shoes I had left behind and I altered a pair of boots. Stay tuned;)

Till next time, xoxo

Shoe Challenge #16: schoolgirl from the 60's?

What: Zara brown leather lace-up brouges
Where: dinner and a movie
Wearing: Camaieu red coat, Topshop earmuffs, H&M red mini-skirt, Zara black long-sleeved tee
Dinner/movie night is always a good time and I was especially excited about wearing my new Zara flats (was a bit too cold for them though - even with 2 pairs of tights my legs and feet were freezing!). We went to see a Czech film called "Pouta" and well, it was ok and all but the film was a tad long and there were many parts they could have left out to make the flow better (140 mins. can get on your nerves..). When we got home I tried on the boyfriend's shirt and I am so lusting for a shirt like this, I of course would wear it as a dress:) and before the dinner/movie I stopped by my favorite store and bought these beauties! Cannot wait for spring..

Shoe Challenge #15: Be my Valentine

What: Vagabond lace up boots
Where: Valentine's day dinner with the Boy
Wearing: Zara dress

I was deciding on which special shoes to wear today for Valentine's and it was a hard decision because a)I wanted to look a certain way (i.e. Valentine sassy), b)it's fucking cold out (so no court heels, damn.) c) Amber's shoe challenge is beginning and these will be the first ones to be seen.. So I picked my favorite boots, my sis got me these last Christmas. As you can see from the second photo, I was also wondering about wearing H&M ankle boots that I got two years ago on my Amsterdamn trip. But comfort and warmth won and so I'm going with these babies.

How did you all spend Valentine's?

Be my Valentine

Saturday, out and about having a grand ol'time, went to lunch and then over to a few stores to look for a toy pig as a Valentine's gift for yours truly. On the way to the restaurant we saw a huge Pumba toy in a shop window and then we were searching for him everywhere. Also went by Topshop and I received these huuuuge ear muffs from the Boy. Was so pleased since I'd been looking for enormous ear muffs for quite a while! Yeay!

Shoe Challenge #14: little miss prissy

What: black leather Zara court heels
Where: handing in uni papers
Wearing: Zara Woman dress

So this is probably my most goody-goody dress, even though it's rather short I think it looks all proper, don't you? It's the top of the dress that's cut like a little girl's Sunday Church dress, all innoncent. Watching Mad Men (totally inspired by Amber btw) and going on long-ish walks with Mr. Piggy since the snow has melted away finally. Sadly though, it's bound to be back soon so will not pack away the winter boots as of yet..

Shoe Challenge #13: Black Swan

What: Topshop studded flats
Where: Black Swan at Svetozor
Wearing: tutu-esque dress Bershka, sweater Zara, scarf H&M, coat Mango, studded bag Zara, tights Zara, earrings Topshop

Was so excited to finally go see the Black Swan movie. I'm such a girly girl so obviously I love love ballet and the dark side of art is a thrilling theme always. To pay homage to the film and Nat. Portman's character the lovely Nina I did my hair up and wore my fluffy tutu dress. All in black to get things just pefect. Was totally gonna wear balerina flats but way way too cold so instead wore my favorite flat shoes, studded Topshop musky grey-black, that I wore so so so much last year and will be wearing them come the warmer weather even more this year I'm sure.

Anyways, I loved the movie! Have you all seen it yet? You just gotta!
