Where: outside with Mr.Piggy and then work and school
Wearing: Zara Women jeans, H&M green t-shirt, Zara white vest, Topshop "robot-girl" necklace
To be perfectly honest I think Mr.Piggy was caught during an act of nature in the first photo. Sorry Mr.Piggy, the photo was meant just to capture my shoes.. Anyways, these were the first wooden wedges I ever bought. Sadly they're a bit less comfy than I would have expected. This is because I could have used a half size bigger I guess. These are a size euro 39. I tried on the 40's but they kept falling off:/ Oh well, one must suffer for beauty sometimes I guess.. Speaking of beauty, how bloody gorgeous/awesome/divine is this necklace? I got it yesterday at Topshop and I completely fell in love with it right away. Well, a busy busy day ahead. But at least it's Wednesday already and that means the weekend is close! xoxo
My best friend has moved to a new flat and it is fantastic! Went to see it and admire it today:) I mean, wow. It's an actual 'grow-up' flat. So cool! too bad didn't get any good picture of the shoes thou..
What: Next leather gold-detail flats
Where: Gabi's new flat plus dinner at T.G.I.Friday's
These are my new sandals, I got them from St-Martins (V Jirchářích 8, Praha) for the fashion show I took part in on Friday. I love St. Martins and Gosh I love Melissa shoes, bloody perfect if you ask me. Anyways, I'm a total mess waiting for my order of the Vivienne Westwood cheery and heart heels and am hoping they will arrive soon:) but at least it's sunny out today and a perfect day and I have new shoes. Life is good. Anywyas, off to look at some Topshop stuff and then meeting a friend for drinks and then should be off writing a fucked up essay due tomorrow, aargh.
So yeah, I've got a bit of a problem here, I'm a shoe-a-holic. I love shoes, with the same kind of love most people reserve for their children or life partner or whatever. I love looking at shoes, I love wearing various types and styles of shoes, I love shoe shopping, I love finding a perfect pair of shoes and then taking them back to the lair (oh yeah) and organizing them with all my other pairs and then looking at them, trying them on, wearing them etc. And because I had some time during the weekend and was on Vivienne Westwood's site, I ordered these two pairs of heels she did for Melissa. I'm nervous about ordering them online, because I don't really trust the post. I ordered them during the weekend so I'll be giving it two weeks before I totally freak out if they don't come by that time, but I have my fingers crossed and am hoping hoping hoping everything will be ok.
By that time I will have 131 pairs in the shoe challenge.
Wearing: Ray-Ban glasses, Zara t-shirt (my favorite), Zara fake leather pants, Topshop belt, Topshop socks, Stradivarius blue sweater
above: a better view of the socks :)
below: a better view of the belt..
It's a nice warm day today but sadly tomorrow the rain is supposed to come and ruin it all:// boo-hoo. In a weird reading mood, just finished 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' and now reading Nick Hornby's "Juliet, Naked" and it's messing with my mind. Or it's the weather. Dunno, but all I want to do is read and go places, do things, skip school etc. But I'm being responsible, or trying to be;) Anyways, the shoe challenge has become much more fun now that the weather has gotten better but I'm worried about what to wear when it will be raining all weekend, bummer. Have to run now, have a fitting before a fashion show later tonight. *for more on the shoe challenge, check out the creator Shoeperwoman. xoxo, MsVeve
What: Zara black leather boots (bought in Amsterdam like two years ago)
Where: university seminar and then off to work
Wearinh: Zara blue jeans, H&M long sleeved shirt, Zara red vest, Zara TRF grey jacket, Reserved bag, Topshop earrings, Ray-Ban glasses
If you happen to be wondering about the title, well, I've been hiding these boots in the corner of the shoe collection for ages because the had a broken off heel tip and I was too lazy to get them repaired, until FINALLY last Friday, I went to the shoe repair man and ta-da! *check-out Shoeperwoman! She won't fix your shoes but her site is amazing:)
Today was filled with delishious sweets in the form of red melon flavored ice cream and raspberry muffins and then instead of a cherry on top a cute pink umbrella from Topshop. Afterall, it might rain..
Where: Tunnel by the train tracks (on the way to have lunch with the Boy's parents)
Wearing: new Zara skinny jeans, new (bought before Christmas but never worn) H&M leopard print petite coat, Bandolera bag
The tunnel near the train tracks is such a weird place, but have always been drawn to it, for at least a photo or two. But there never seems to be enough time (for we just barely make the train every time)..
These are my favorite pair of trainers/converse-esque shoes. They have (or well had) really pretty golden stud detailing but Mr. Piggy likes to chew on the studs and to take the studs off the shoes, grrr. Nearly half of them are gone already! So now these shoes are hidden from the pig in a higher shelf:)
Wearing: Topshop red polka-dot mini-dress, black H&M tights, Stradivarius oversized cardi, Topshop headband
My pig seems to really like to be in my shoe challenge photos. Well, he does love shoes, so I guess that makes sense. These flats from Topshop are super comfy and I love the color. It's a really stand-out gold, which totally makes people check out your feet all the time.) Oh have any of you tried the PUMA design your own shoe thing? My boyfriend did and I helped him design his shoes (lucky me!:) and they finally arrived yesterday. Unfortunately they aren't exactly how we designed them (wtf?!) and the pink was supposed to be purple. Bummer.
Here the shoe itself, I think they look ok but if the pink had been the purple (as it should have been), would have looked way better.. I wonder what Shoeperwoman would say?.)
Mr. Piggy loves Spring. Because he finally gets to go out on longer walks and not half freeze to death. I opted for a pair of flats that I don't really like too much. The material is just too hard but they tend to hurt my heel after a while of walking in them. But today I said to myself, whatthehell and decided to take them for a trail walk. We weren't outside for too long (Mr. Piggy had a mood) but they surprised me by being rather comfy. Good for them.
They have this really cute skull pin on them which I fell in love with when I was originally ordering them. It's still the detail which I like the most of these flats. So cute!
Wearing: Stradivarius Cape coat, Zara blue jeans, Mango bag, Mango sunglasses
A really hungover and slow day, skipped everything to sleep it off and read a Kellermen novel. Perfect chilling day indeed. Wearing one of my favorite pair of non-summer heels, my lovely sis bought me these like three years ago as a Christmas pressie. They're really comfortable and the heel height is a perfect size - not too low, not too high. Sadly thou, tomorro it's back to reality. Why the hungover day? I guess it's due to yesterday wine. The boy and I went to a friend of his birthday party..
