Dear Blog

Are you mad at me? I've been neglecting you so much. No pretty photos, no juicy posts. It's been too much complaining (about uni) and too much lazying around. You deserve better, you really do. And I'll give it to you. Or at least I'll try.
I'll tell you what I've been up to. The boy & I took a trip over Easter weekend and went to some little town near Ostrava/Havirov because a friend was celebrating his 30th bday. We went by train and the trip was pleasant enough. I got to read a couple of books, among which was "Silver Linings Playbook" by Matthew Quick. I quite enjoyed the book and now am ready to go see the film (I absolutely adore Jennifer Lawrence)! Here's my review on the book.

I wore some cute outfits (which I forgot to photograph, of course) and then it snowed loads and we went by train back home. I read a couple more books but Silver Linings was the best. Oh, my Asos watch finally arrived (ordered it ages ago) and have been wearing it since. (This might be due to the fact that all my other watches have run out of batteries... or because I really like my new mustache watch.) I'm wearing it today, see. This is my arm, at work. The rest of me looked a bit too tired and wired for a featured picture. But I'll take some photos soon, I promise! What a bad blogger I've been!

Hope to see you soon,

Yours always,

Miss V

Dressember 4: Nurnberg

Today the boy & his mum and dad & I went for a little car trip to Germany to see the holiday stands in Nurnberg. And to drink wine. You must drink hot wine whilst in Nurnberg. It's tradition. (Also you must eat loads and loads and then hardly fit into the car for the trip back hahah.)
 See wine info above.
They have such lovely streets and the market stands are quite unique too. We have them in Prague but I have the feeling ours are much cheaper/of worse quality than the ones of our German neighbors.
Even the post office had its own stand - too funny!
Evidence that I really wore a dress in the cold and rain. Surprisingly I think I prefer to wear skirts/dresses in the worse weather. Just me? Oh well.. you'll have to take my word for it that it does have a few pluses..
Posing with the boy's Mum.
Overall it was a fun trip and definitely helped me get the holiday spirit working, plus was way waaaay better than staying home & studying! Now I must do lie down. See you tomorrow for another day another dress, xox, MsV**

Shoe Challenge #176: Calvin

What: Calvin Klein Yus ra elastic cut-out wedges
Where: dinner with the Boy
Wearing: Pull&bear jean dress, Zara tee, Mango bag, ?? scarf as headband
I have been waiting a while to save these, cause I wanted someplace special to take them. But then yesterday is was super hot and that warrented open-toed sandals and my poor feet are still in a mess from the weekend shoes so I needed something relatively comfy. Bring on the Calvins!
I especially love the cut-out detailing, reminds me of United Nude shoes, but Calvin Klein is perhaps a 1Up on that one. The outfit meanwhile well, I was all caught up on RoadTrip fashion via the Asos Fashion Finder competition. So I wanted something jeaned up, with my favorite rockabilly headscarf. Yeah. Anyways, still a few sandals/open-toes to save so stay tuned! Xoxo, mwah!
