"Photos from yesterday's photoshoot!" continued.

I know I said I'd wait till the issue came out but since the girl whom I had been in contact with turned out to be a complete ditz and possibly also one of the biggest idiots I have ever had the pleasure to come upon, I have thus decided to stop wsting my time with her all together and well, here are the rest of the pictures (or at least the rest of all the ones I was sent, she never sent the details of the tatts as promised).

DIY in Jerusalem

Imagine a little shop where you get to design your own jewelry. A super large coin here, a bead there and tada! You have your very own original piece. Sound just short of incredible? Well head on over to Jerusalem to this tiny little shop and it's a dream come true. And the best part is? It's DIY right? After all, it's the thought that counts:))

Goodbye sweet Prague!

Come this Friday I shall bid a farewell to my beloved Prague and will be heading towards sun and sea. My mind is full of pre holiday thoughts and am anxious to get gone. Thus, I have not one thought of fashion but of what I am to pack with me for said vacation. Hmmm, bikini, sun hat, bikini. What else? :))
* pictures are of Sporilov and the Prague castle (and as can be predicted by quality, they are all my original photos, ehm.:D)

Photos from tedious photoshoot

I've (finally) had the um pleasure of seeing the photos that will sometime soon (hopefully when I'm on holiday) appear in a local tabloid magazine. The article has to do with ink and a friend convinced me.. Since I'm not at a liberty to post them freely about I'll just show you a little preview...

Gone for the w/e!

I'm going to visit a friend for the duration of the weekend and have thus discovered something so obvious about myself that I shudder whilst remembering my original notion having to do with my upcoming holiday*: I over-pack. I mean, common! Going away for the WEEKEND, riiight? That's two days, well 3 with the way there. So like how many clothes do I really need to be taking with me?

I've narrowed it down to:

PJs, robe (not really clothes but since taking up room anyways, s'in the list)
Travel clothes (jeans, sweater/sweatshirt, shirt, converse?)
Going out clothes 1 (dress, tights, handbag, heels)
Going out clothes 2 (fringed long top, tight mini skirt, studded belt)
Day clothes 2 (t-shirt, black capri pants, balerina flats)
Travel back clothes (same jeans, sweater/sweatshirt, dif shirt, converse?)
Make-up, Perfume, Toothbrush, Hair brush, Make-up removal quips etc. etc.
Phone, wallet, book
Sunglasses, suntan lotion (for I pray it wil be sunny)

Anyways now I'm running about wondering if I have forgotten anything and if it shall at least be summery weather while I'm gone??! Oh and here's a photo of my new favorite hair style (that is my own original idea, or so I think), a double french braid (one from the bottom, one from the top) meeting in place of a pony tail and turned into a bun. Perfection!

*have been boasting about how light I shall be packing. Hmmmm.

A farewell to my old hair colour.

Dearest peroxide blonde hair,
you were a fine companion these past two years, we've had a good many fun times together. We had been a team, for the good and the bad and the truely blonde. And thou I shall miss you gravely, it was best to move on. Perhaps one day we will meet again.
Yours with all my heart,
MsVeVe
Photos taken at LUCKY HAIR STUDIO

Thursday's wish list.

Currently lusting after: (from bottom to top) sequin dress - (3.1 Phillip Lim), Lucky 13 Vixen Blonde tee, colourful scarf (Marc by Marc Jacobs) and huge tight belt (Miss Sixty). Also still seeking the perfect over-throw for my Tel Aviv holiday. But that alas seems to be impossible..

Comin at you like a Train.

Dior does it like no one else. (And also proves my point of yesterday's post..)
These styles are tres tres inyourface and You either love it or loathe it but there's no middle way with these sassy numbers. You'll find moi on the high end of the lust section for those earrings are just too rad for words. As for the head gear.. well I'd rather admire from a distance:)

From the runway..

It can be quite the challange to channel runway looks in real life, not to mention during the daytime! Make-up for one matter tends to be OTT to the extreme and well, as far as the actual clothes go, not all of the "trends" are truely wearable. All those space looks and dresses holding on by a thread. Not to mention the footwear.. I'd say the safest bet is to add just a hint of that certain aspect from the runway to take the outfit to a new level without leaving this planet.

Here I bring you some runway looks that have caught my eye:

From top to bottom: Tracy Reese (OMG! How perfect is this look?! Love love love!! Would just get rid of the fur collar.), Anna Sui (pretty but way too much! Would have preferred a sleeveless version.), Carlos Miele (simple and yet works so well! Thou I'd ditch the heavy eye make-up and opt rather for some pop of colour via some lipstick), William Rast (a bit too dull, would add a studded belt to liven things up a bit) and lastly from the Lacoste show (Is that a robe? Nice hair thou.) Will be trying out some of these looks soon so stay tuned for the real-life daytime versions to come!

Pick of the Lit.

Currently re-reading Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice. A classic. Highly recommended.

Shorn leggings.

A big yay in my book. I'd rather wear them with a tiny mini-dress thou, not so into the leggings worn as pants routine as of yet. I need to buy some new leggings to play on thou, since only have three pairs at the mo (first pair are wet look, which I won't cut no matter what! Second pair are with zipper detail and thus do not need any more work done and third are with cut-outs I did not long ago. And with no room left for improvement..)
Oh! Ans since we're on the topic of shredding, figured out new way to fix-up jeans using tiny pair of scissors, works wonders. Expect DIY post to come~!

Getting in touch with my inner gossipy self.

So this morning I've been catching up on the gossip buzz of the who's it what's it. Seems "so much" is going on. Kate Moss on holiday in St Tropez, Sarah Michelle Gellar pregnant (proving that Freddie Prince Jr. isn't actually gay. Well she's been pregs for awhile but I didn't know, okay, whatever.), LiLo tweeting against human trafficking, Milla Jovovich planning a wedding, Ashlee Simpson promoting "Melrose Place". Okay, so that all doesn't add up to that much but still, good to keep track of the happenings. And so what am I up to? I'm just avoiding my ex-boyfriends and planning my holiday (just in two weeks!!).

I <3 studs.

studded. the new black.

In love with everything studded. From gladiator sandals to hard edge boots, or balerina flats to stilettos, no matter the style, studs are "the new black". Come join the rebellion;)

Ch-ch-ch-changes pt.2

It's funny how when you change something it's not just that one thing you change. Make any sense? What I'm going at is obviously relevent to the huge change I've gone thru not long ago (hair color + also styling it a bit differently nowadays) and as if that weren't intense enough, I've had to rethink my wardrobe a bit. Why? Well cause some of the things I used to wear just don't seem to go with the new me. And other clothes and styles that I wouldn't have choosen before now seem so right. An example from last night: purple. A colour I've always liked but never really one I'd wear. Or the style, come to think about it, loose almost bubble mini-mini-skirt with loose tank top (used to always combine loose and tight or tight on tight but loose/loose? never..). Changes are good thou. Fact. Don't be afraid to let loose (no pun intended). Cause if you don't try new things, how will you ever know what's the right one? Plus I'm having much more fun at the moment, all around. Yall should give it a go.
