The King of Party Glamour..

I'm thinking Roberto Cavalli for the whole duration of this summer. I'll definitely be channeling a young Brigitte Bardot as she wore his creations in Saint Tropez. I'm thinking flamboyant beachwear. Classic styles with added edge. I'm also madly in awe of this following quote: "The Cavalli woman is instictive and playful. She loves vitality and color but she is not giving up black." So completely me..

Kate for Vogue

In love with this picture (image by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz, should appear in the May issue of Vogue. The gown is Oscar de la Renta)..

Men's fashion..

Truth be told when I look at men's fashion, I'm checking out the guy as well. I mean, if it were a girl wearing a pretty dress and she wasn't so interesting, I wouldn't really care, I'd be looking at the dress..
BUT when it's men's clothes, the guy needs to be looking sweet as well. Enter Jean Paul Gaultier and his A/W 2009 show. The man knows exactly what I look for (e.g. notice the wig.. too bad it's a wig thou, would have been insanely irresistible if he really had hair like this.. one can dream:). Anyways back to the point, he looks just dashing doesn't he? And I didn't even notice that he's wearing a skirt :D

Just short of a miracle..

Now I love colors, I really do. From pastels to brights, from just a hint to some major clashing, you name it! But alas I must say.. Nothing beats a LBD! This one is absolutely amazing and from Michael Kors.

Gucci A/W 2009

Loving this look. Leather and polka dots. Sweet yet bad girl cool.

Although I would totally skip on the glasses and instead add some eye catching earrings. Some color clash. Bright pink baby.

And the hair.. why? Why make this poor girl look like a man? Uggh, I'm thinking more Courtney Love on heroin style. Blown out to full volume and loud, inyourface style;)

Christian Dior S/S 2009

Would this be too OTT for work?? But it's just lovely isn't it? Bloody perfection. Would just change the hair for some MM curls and the belt for a loud studded one and ta da! lollipop/icecream princess slash insane rock chick, hell yeah!

How to become Aphrodite..

This dress does it all. Miu Miu knows the wishes of a woman. The sweet detailing, the poised siluette, the marvelous print! This Grecian-inspired silk-blend mosaic print shift dress is one worthy of the goddesses..

Now the bad news? It costs €1,590 and is sold out in all sizes...

Sinful thoughts

HAPPY EASTER!

Here, have some Armani chocolates...
Really looks yummy, doesn't it?
Would LOVE to have some.. hmmm... but guess will just have to settle for some plain old non-designer chocolates this year. It's a cruel world, isn't it?:)

Lusting after...

1) the perfect white summer dress
2) fake leather jacket
3) high shine leggings
4) men shoe inspired lace-up flats
5) black umbrella (I know, saaad)
6) tribal earrings
7) the perfect man (yeeah, I know.)
8) givency-esque chain cross necklaces
9) loose knit top
10) christian dior christal white diamond bezel watch

** the depressing thing? I'm probably more likely to get number 10 than #7

Louboutins

So today I checked out the Louboutin website for the first time (http://www.christianlouboutin.com/) and I must say, I'm impressed. Now I've been familiar with most of the Louboulin collection from various other web pages but the offical web site is just darling. I love how it doesn't take itself too seriously but all the while knowing that the shoes featured on site are top-knotch. Seriously, Louboutins are probably the best shoes out there.. now just to get my hands on some:) But of course there is no Christian Louboutin boutique in Prague... Now if anyone wants to get me these puppies in size EUR 39...

What to wear to see your ex?

This morning I was faced with a dilema.. What to wear to see your ex? Now I'm not exactly certain if I will or will not be seeing my ex today (added later today: yup, he was there!), but I have an appointment at a tattoo parlor to get my Buddy tatt finished and he works there (btw I am so SO lucky he wasn't the one who did the tattoo in the first place, I must have read the future or smth and known we were bound to end OR it was just that bloody obvious, yeah, I'll go with that one).

Anyways, so I'm standing in front of the mirror and all I know is that I'll need to be wearing something sleeveless, since the tattoo artist will need access to the top of my shoulder. So I put on a nice summery dress and it would have totally worked..BUT it would have worked too MUCH, catch my drift? And I don't want to look like I've tried too hard, actually I'm going more for the "just couldn't be bothered look". So I put on a worn out sleeveless band t-shirt and skinny jeans and yeah, it's OK, but it looks like too little effort. You know, like what if I meet someone of the way? You never know and it's a small world.. So the winning number 3 outfit consists of a simple H&M pink summery tanktop, said skinny jeans (Zara btw), vintage leather belt, altered leopard print tunic, a huge toote bag and Bershka flat anckle boots. I would have so loved to have worn heels (preferably the ones from the last post;)) but my ex was (well is really) a short guy and didn't want to stir the waters more than it was inevitable.

Added later today:

The whole affair turns into a complete nightmare: a) my cell phone dies. It doesn't just turn of, no, no no no, it DIES. My dear sweet Nokia XpressMusic mobile has perished (another one bites the dust). b) I come two bloody hours late (I thought my appointment was at 4 p.m. but alas it was already at 2) c) I'm short on cash.

But all's well that ends well and I got the ink done. (Also bought a new phone - LG KC 550 - but that's a whole nother story..)

Another ravishing book post

I've just started to read Cecelia Ahern's "If You Could See Me Now" and I must say, it's rather enchanting. Some of you may know this author via the great "P.S. I Love You" (which just happens to be one of my all time favorite movies, to be honest I haven't read the book but if the film is anything to go by.. I mean, check out all those lovely heels!) or "A Place Called Here" (which I can not wait to get my hands on! I'm hooked!).

Now back to the topic at hand.. "If You Could See Me Now" is like a breath of fresh air, Glamour magazine says: 'There's more than a touch of fairytale about Cecelia Ahern's novels...thanks to a liberal sprinkling of magic.' and The Irish Independent claims the novel to be 'Captivating.' and I couldn't agree more.

So if you're in need of a little bit of magic in your life..

TIGI S-factor hair product try-out

Recently I had received 4 samples of TIGI S-factor hair products I have been dying to try out: S-factor Smoothing conditioner, S-factor Smoothing Lusterizer, S- factor Serious Conditioner and S-factor Serious Conditioner with Sunflower Seed Oil... and today is the lucky day I get to tell you all about it!

Now in my opinion, the Smoothing conditioner is nothing speacial really, merely a typical just-like-any-other conditioner so I wasn't too impressed and thus was kind of sceptical about the rest as well BUT I totally went head our heels for the Serious conditioner, the name does not lie. It works wonders (especially the sunflower seed oil one) and I should know, I mean I bleach my hair, it needs all the help it can get! And I most definetely lust the Lusterizer. It's beyond rad. I can't wait to use it again.

So that's 3 outta 4 in my book.. Tigi, baby, you've won me over.

Iron Fist store opening in Prague

So a couple of days ago (on the 27th of March to be precise, I've been meaning to write about it for a while now..) a new store was opened in Prague. It's stocked by the brand Iron Fist and to make things simple the store is also called "Iron Fist", located at Komunardu 25 street in Prague Holesovice. I was lucky enough to attend the opening (my debut as a "red carpet" model) and I was amazed by the quality of the merchandise but also by the incredible fun behind the fashion. Iron Fist is a very unique streetwear brand, started by Mike van Senus and Travis Anderson. It mixes somewhat morbid motifs and happy-go-lucky color blasts with a fabulous ease and lightheartedness taking things to a whole new level. Original and unmistakeable designs are filled with the urban underground vibe and if that's right up your alley, you're destined to fall in love.

Check out the video from the store's opening (see those heels I have on?? To DIE for.) and if you have the chance, stop by the store, I highly recommend it:))
