July files of new..

What does MsVeve love buying the most? Shoes, duh! Had an amazing shopping time over at H&M, found the most blue sandals ever and happily enough, they cover my entire feet ink, which is damned good for some occasions. Also? You would not believe the price. 70 Kc. Yes, really. (That's like 3 euros). The white wedges were also from H&M, I totally love them and they too were for the ridiculous price of 70 crowns, madness. Next I bought a pair od Prague tourist flip flops because well I had to really. I was out clubbing with Gabi and my red wedged heels were KILLING me so it was either buying a pair of diff. shoes or going home to change and going home was just too annoying so ta da! I partied the night away in these bad boys;) Another H&M pair, beige quilted balerina flats. I just had to have these. Yeah. So that was the shoe part, then a bought a whole lotta shirts and tees etc. and also this AMAZING Topshop black rompersuit, love it! love it! love it! I'm so into rompers now it's crazy. This whole craze started with the heart detailed romper from Zara, now this one and yesterday I bought a sailor inspired one also from Zara, photos to come soon I hope. Oh and while keeping up with blogging friends, I apparently NEEDED to buy a pair of slightly oversized bow detailed shorts. yeah. Totally. Now I'm off to buy a book and a dress and then too go tend my pig and my boy. Exactly in that order too. Happy Wednesday!

DRACUL

So on Saturday my brother, his gf and I went on a trip to Plzen to pick up my baby dwarf pig. You srsly would not believe how utterly cute he is! And tiny! (Well he is only one month old, so of course he's gonna grow but still, he's tres tiny and cute and everything). More photos to come soon but I needa recharge my camera and you all know how hard that can be...  Anyways, life with Dracul? It's all good, so far he hasn't ruined any of my shoes (good boy!) and only peed in my bed once. Though he has become quite daring and no longer wants to sleep/hang out in his basket so I'm thinking about getting him a crib like the one pictured above. Dunno, smth nice and that he could stay in. Huh, we'll see.

Bad Karaoke and leopardprint bracelets

Ben's last night in Prague and so my bestie Gabi and I went to his going away party thing which sadly turned to be the worst karaoke ever. Yes, really. But at least I did sing this time (I Will Survive). Had waaaay too little to drink (e.g. nothing at all actually). Anyways, we made those bracalets ourselves, using borrowed office supplies such as rubber bands and paper clips. The furry leopardprint things came from hand-cuffs I brought Gabi. Yeah.

You can't really see what we're wearing but I had on a topshop vest top, Zara blue jeans, new quilted beige balerina flats and my favorite Stradivarius studded bag. More outfit posts hopefully soon!

xoxox

So much has been going on haven't had time to blog like at all! Working on an intense project at work, haven't even had time for a proper photoshoot in ages (the black hair seems to be cursed), but have managed to find perfer harmony. Having a blast with the boy (gotta love young love), and taking the town by storm with best friend. Life is good. Getting my baby pig on Saturday. Cannot wait for little Dracul. Am just so bloody happy. So am fooling around with the pop-art wave. Happy - what day is it? - Monday :))

Lusting after...

I know it's summer and like a million degrees outside but still, I already have the upcoming season on my mind. As well as some naughty pop art. Hella good!

Anyways, I am dying to find a cute petite coat like in the second photo. So chic! Then my heart is set on knitwear (this little number comes from the Swedish trio Dagmar) and fur. But for the time being these studded ballet flats would work wonders, don't ya think? (From BonaFide). I'm currently seeking a tutu inspired skirt, or maybe even the real thing. Hmmm. And last but not least, a tight 'proper' leather skirt (have one ordered actually, from Topshop, due to arrive sometime next week, yeay!)

bday and so on..

I know it's been a while but there has just been so much going on, crazy! Celebrated my bday over the weekend, had such a great time. Lately I've discovered the joys of gay clubs. Hah, something I'd never think I'd say. And yes, am still straight. But there's just such a carefree happiness while letting go and dancing around to Lady Gaga with a bunch of gay boys. All the while wearing a stag party British Police officer cap. Yeah. And you wouldn't believe how popular my hat was. Or prolly you would. Anyways hopefully some photos to come soon. Oh and for those of you whom haven't heard via facebook: am getting my pig in two weeks:)

I want a dwarf pig!!!

Isn't he a cutie? I'm really thinking of getting one, I've contacted this lady and she'll send me some photos (apparently she has two left, both one month old, one is black and one has spots. They grow up to 18 kgs, haha that's actually quite big thou. Huh.) I want a piggie so that I don't feel so alone in my flat.. I mean just look at that cute little pig face, almost like Buddy but smaller. Awww;)

Files o'trifted

So first off new piercing, yeay! Got my tragus pierced on Tuesday. I don't really have a good picture of it as yet but at least to give you an idea of it, right. And since my files of new have been slightly shifted since tad broke of late, I went to a thrift store and found the perfect goth-ish long black skirt. It's way too hot to wear it now (thank goodness!) but as soon as autumn falls upon us, I'll be pairing it with my "new" Topshop fake fur vest. Style on a budget.;)

Book review: The Carrie Diaries

Just finished reading Sex and the City's prequel The Carrie Diaries by Candance Bushnell. It's an interesting enough read though I did find a few things a bit akward. Like given that I had been a careful viewer of the show and remember most episodes and even the little details of Carrie's past, it was a bit of a let down that these details did not actually fall into place. Which of course was not surprising since this book actually has nothing to do with the show. The book follows young Carrie Bradshaw as she's going through her senior year in high school. She wants to become a writer, gets accepted into Brown and daydreams of New York. The book also deals with her love life, she has a boyfriend Sebastian, whom she is madly in love with, but who cheats on her with her best friend and that's the end of it. Anyways, I enjoyed the book enough, sure. But it's definitely not one of those that I would either quote vigorously or return to every once in a while, but I am happy I had read it, though it's the kind of book I would have rather borrowed from the library (if our library had such books) than actually buy. Nonetheless, a carefree summer read.
