It's been a while...

I know, I know. Each time I come here after godknowshowlong and say the same things: sorry, uni work load, exams, will try harder next time etc. And believe me I really do mean it. BUT then come the everyday troubles of a university student and I just set the blog aside. So anyways, I still have a few exams to finish up but I want to (try to) give more time to this here blog.

For starters I thought I'd recommend a nail product I have been using for the past two weeks or so:

It's a nail hardener by Douglas and I bought it because I stopped wearing fake nails and after acrylic nails your real nails are really thin and frail. And then they tend to break and look horrible so you go back to the fake nails. But I don't want to do that anymore. I've decided to break the cykle by sticking with what I've got and making my own real nails stronger and healthier. It definitely means more maintenance (filing the nails almost daily, adding the nail hardener, no biting!) but I'm willing to bet that if I stay with it till the end, it will pay off.

What do you use for your nails? Any suggestions?

Hair and nails

 Thou I was running close-to-late in my morning schedule before heading off to uni class, I decided to style a fishtail braid.) I love this type of braid but for ages didn’t really know how to do it. Luckily, I found a tutorial for it here (http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/09/how-to-style-a-fishtail-braid-.html) and I love how it turned out).

During my break in between classes I popped by Topshop and bought this amazing and completely fucking perfect headband with these awesome studs. I am in love, really. I'm now running off to meet up with the Boy and in a hurry (as usual) so will keep this short, the last photo of today's bunch is of nail stickers I bought at H&M with a gift voucher I had. I wanted to try out how nail stickers work vs. nail polish and I guess I'm more conservative than I thought cause I like nail polish better. But I'm glad I tried and yall know how I feel about hearts so I'll be sporting this coat on my nails till it fades:)

New nails.. to bring new luck!

My exam week has started and I'm a mess. Eating weird foods (at strange times of day might I add), no exersize, drinking tons of coffee and during moments of intense nervousness I've started to pick at my nails. Yeah, that adds up to a lovely picture, not. Anyways, today I've had just about enough of the godawful sight of my hands and could stand it no longer so I booked an appointment at my local hair/nail studio and ta da! Hot pink! Just rad. Hope they bring me luck tomorrow.

Oh and I have reinstated my prior Redbull addiction. The fridge is packed with these babies. Hell yeah! Bring it on..
