Cursed or something

As I mentioned in the previous post, I had bought a new camera. Unfortunately it didn't have a memory card so yesterday I stopped by Datard and bought a 8 GB one that goes into my new cam. Right, sadly thou, the memory card doesn't fit into my laptop and so will have to get the photos in thru the traditional annoying way via a USB port. Uggh. Not only that but while trying to upload the newest pictures this morning my computer decided to go on strike and turned itself off and then refused to turn on again. Apparently it's the battery that's screwed but still, kinda feels like I'm cursed or smth..

On a happier note, think I've at least figured out what I'll be wearing this w/e to my bf's family party thing. Since it's one of those 'no-tatts' ordeals I'll be going with a new H&M grey dress and either with a black turtleneck under it or a cute sweater over, not sure yet with which version. The boy will be wearing a yellow buttondown shirt and a suit sans tie, so I'm thinking of buying a thin pale yellow belt to go with the dress and wearing my yellow wedges. Hmmm.

While out shopping I found this skirt at Zara and bought it but then returned it cause the zipper was stitched on rather poorly and was like 'spent enough this month already and long time till payday and blablabla'  so had to say goodbye to said skirt. Too bad, would have been quite charming with a simple black top and black tights...

Yeay hurray!!

So had an amazing super w/e (went to see the David Guetta show with the bf and was quite a good party, was surprised by how many ppl came, insane!) and got a new cam!! Olympus X925 PINK 12MPX+4x ZOOM. Only misfortune was that got the camera on Sunday so wasn't able to take any pics at the gig since that was on Sat. But yeay hurray more pictures to come soon - FINALLY!

L' Arnacoeur

Last night went to the cinema to see L' Arnacoeur starring the gorgeous Vanessa P. and was a good laugh and full of wonderful style. Couldn't google up the picture of the gown she wore to the opera and that was my favorite, or what she wore when she and her fiance are at the restaurant. (Love her ruby red lipstick in that scene btw.) Sadly I on the otherhand was wearing the most uncomfortable shoes in the world (high doc Marten's that haven't been broken in yet and thus had had to take a cab home, I so should have worn heels. Huh.) 

R.I.P. to The yellow dress

I was wearing my favorite yellow dress Friday and there was a bit of drinking going on that night (and got pissed at my bf for not buying me cigarettes - was all very dramatic.) and anyways when we got home, was like 5 a.m. and basically just threw the dress on the couch and passed out asap. Well when I got out of my alco coma and took a look around the flat had quite a shock. The pig had been 'playing'. There were tiny pieces of tissue paper everywhere, little wood chips from his indoor restroom thingy and worst of all: my dress, lying limply on the floor. With huge holes torn into it. Poor poor dress, it didn't deserve such a horrid ending..

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

Last week we went to see this movie and although to be honest I didn't expect much, I was really blown away. I'm currently reading the book and the only thing that bothers me is the translation of the title. it should have been 'Men, who hate women' instead (as it is in it's original version..). (Cause I was like 'Girl with a dragon tattoo'?, s'gonna be crap.. but srsly, it's REALLY well written and will surely read the next two books as well..)

Pink and Red

Completely going thru the motions with my camera system.// First off my trusty digital cam will NOT turn on, for no apparent reason. Oh and it's stuck which it's head out. Oookay. THEN my old sweetie that has been with me for like forever, an oldschool cam., won't grab the film roll right and thus no pictures for me either (thou I think a battery change might be in order..). Third? The fucking cam on my phone? Well, it takes horrid blurry pics to begin with BUT THEN it won't load them onto my computer. WTF? Ugggh, the stupid USB doesn't work. Frustrating as hell! So That's why I've been a bit slack on my posts lately. Apologizes. Here's a photo from Midzu from last w/e. Dracul says hi*

I ♥ ♥ ♥ Zara

Completely loving the September line of TRF Zara. Zara jeans have ALWAYS been my fave for as long as I can remember, but a sweater with elbow patch detailing, lush!! And those men's inspirated lace ups? Divine!

This sweater is also oh so cute and the dress below? Tres chic, especially with the hat. And thigh high socks, which have stayed with us from the year before..

This jacket is gorgeous and I am buying it after pay day.

Love these highschool/colleage inspired jackets. We've got spirit, yes we do!

And that ol' sailor/military look is a keeper for this fall as well.

HAVE vs. WANT

For as long as I can remember I always thought H&M's selection of footwear rather bleak. I mean SURE, once in a while I'd find a pretty pair of balerina flats (but honestly, it's not really that hard to come up with THAT right??) or a okay-ish pair of heels (something that kinda cute but feels more like a copy of something than the real deal, if you know what I mean..). But lately the folks at H&M have upped their game! The first pair featured here is a gorgeous version of quilted nude flats (which I couldn't resist buying.)). Perfect for those casual cool days for strolling around town with the boy or the pig, second is an insane pair of leopard print lace-up flats which I srsly NEED like asap!!

Speaking of H&M their entire collection for fall is quite superb. Lovinf the casual smart looks and the tailored meets carefree styles. Works in the office, for a night out or even just to lazy around the flat. Perfection!

goth sunshine

So I still have no camera (thus my photo donation here is really completely dependant on Gabi's iphone). Typically, as we do like every Friday night, we went gay clubbing. Milan was sporting his lady gaga-esque bunny ears (created by MOI ) and this fucking huge matching bow tie. Rad to the core. I, on the otherhand, was going for a vamp look via red red eyes (lipstick instead of eyeshadow, no mascara) and black lipstick. Was also wearing one of my favorite dresses, the red stripped Topshop dress. Funny that the way you style this dress REALLY makes a hell of a difference.

Or maybe it's just the hair color that counts?.) happy Monday everyone!
