Snow Bunny

I can't believe I forgot to post this shoe save sooner. It's from a week ago Friday, I wore this outfit to walk Mr. Pig and then I wore it to a dinner date. It was COLD. Thus the weather permitted me to wear my Moon Boots. I love these shoes!

Wearing: H&M coat, Topshop fake fur stole, Reserved dress, Pull& Bear black cardi, H&M old pink tights (need to buy some new ones!), for the dinner date I just swapped my pig walking bag for a different one, suitable for company:)

Just wanted to mention my make-up, I was having fun with my eyeliner and I love how it turned out! And this was before the lipstick challenge began so I'm not sure what I had on, though I think it was my favorite lippy from Etude House. Love that brand!

I'm taking a tiny break from the lipstick challenge this week, because I have my exams on Thursday and I know I'll be at home until I go to uni and I won't be saving any shoes or taking any photos. (Although I did venture out today because I had to go to the bank to pick up my new debit card. And I stopped by Iron Fist, I'll say more in my next post.) So, I have one more post lined up (a save from the weekend and my mini haul) and then that's it until Thursday! Please please please wish me luck! A Strange Coat and a Stranger Hat

This is really more of a files of new than a shoe save post but what the heck, why not right? A few days ago I thrifted this totally warm and completely Russian vibe coat. It's from Mexx and to be honest I do feel a bit strange while wearing it but it's coat and I just need to style it differently.

Shoes saved: thrifted and DIYed leather boots (I shortened them)

 I'm kinda thinking I might get rid of these shoes even though they are now officially saved.I just don't like them that much but again I think it might be due to styling and I'll give them one more shot. I wanted to share one more photo with you in this post and it's from yesterday while I was walking Mr. Pig. Do I look like those Brit soldiers that guard Buckingham Palace? :))

A Bit of Effort

So I said I'd try to save some fun shoes right? Looks like easier said than done! I went to the gym on Tuesday straight from work and was lugging my gym wear and my computer around so that meant I had to go with a sporty look (the last photo - comfy converse-esque Office studded shoes and some skinny jeans to go with my Adidas originals gym bag - actually not a gym bag but rather an over-sized bowling bag or something but I like wearing it to the gym) but I tried a little harder with today's outfit:

Wearing: Mango jean jacket, J Crew skirt, George sweater, H&M fake fur stole, opaque tights, Zara Office City bag 

I recon that a fake fur stole jazzes up any outfit (except a sporty outfit - definitely would not have gone well with Tuesday's look) and I love tweed and fur together. It's like British glamor or something. So it was at least some effort today, no? I even wore some eye make-up though you probably can't tell. Stupid phone photos and all. But can't promise nicer pictures until the boy FINALLY fixes up the shoe room (it's taking ages!). Enough complaining though, let's talk shoes. These flats are very comfy and I love the tweed bits. They remind me a little of school girl shoes, all proper but with a fun twist in the form of tweed. They're from Asos and were a very easy save.
