My recent Asos purchases: the Aspen lace-up duck boot (which I reckon will look really sweet with little skirts) and the Asos leather harness belt. I've been wanting a harnesss belt for a while now and though this one wasn't cheap, it still was worth it. Lately I've been thinking about autumn/winter clothes and shoes already and it's kinda sad in a way, this summer seems to have passed by so fast and I still have over 20 pairs of open-toed shoes/sandals to get through. Ughhh. But I've still got at least a month left to attempt to get by, so hopefully I'll manage. Speaking of managing though, I've got two uni exams coming up and I should seriously start studying. What a drag! Wish me luck:)

Shoe Challenge #163: Caped and color-coded
What: PPQfor Office leather wedges
Where: lunch with the boy's parents
Wearing: Zara cropped jeans, Zara sweater, Stradivarius tee, H&M studded belt, Topshop bag, Azone "Cat3" sunglasses
I seriously hope these sandals get more comfortable cause ouch, I have a high arch and these wedges HURT. But it was a shoe challenge and these were worn for the first time and leather stretches so it all should work out in the end. Whatever. I had a thing about wedged flip flop shoes, been searching for a pair for ages, so while I was ordering things from Office these were a must. They remind me of Geisha shoes:) and I love the color of them (a bright bright yellow). On a sad note, the weekend is ending and tomorrow it's off to work and all, I wish the weekend was longer..)
Shoe Challenge #162: Relaxed
What: Mango Limited Addiction bejeweled sandals
Where: Returning home from the cinema (went to the the Lincoln Lawyer)
Wearing: Topshop jersey skirt (loooove it!) with H&M leggings underneath, Stradivarius sweater, Zara tee, Topshop bag, H&M scarf
I had been searching for the perfect long jersey skirt for ages and finally I found the perfect one in the Topshop sale (seriiously love their sales) and so Saturday night, after a perfect day of shopping and food mentioned in the last post, me and the boy went to the cinema to see the Lincoln Lawyer, fucking great movie.
This will now be my go-to relaxed weekend outfit for sure. The sandals here are ones I had been lusting after for ages, but they were sooo expensive! But then I saved up enough for them (only for them to go sale later but whatever..) and I do love them. Unfortunately so does Mr. Piggy and he tried to pry out some of the jewels from the shoes but shit happens. I don't dwell, plus they are still wearable so we're good.)

Shoe Challenge #161: Lunch & Shopping Date
What: Eden wedges
Where: Prague City Center, Palladium
Wearing: Mango dress, Topshop sweater, Topshop necklace, Mango bag
Today was such a perfect day, slept late, woke up to the boy bringing me breakfast in bed. Then we relaxed until we decided to go to the center for lunch and a bit of shopping. Went to Topshop where they are having a RIDICULOUSLY amazing sale (buy anything on sale and the second sale item, the cheaper one of the two, is free!), I got two bags (one clutch and one cross body, both straw and leather), one uber long jersey skirt, the necklace I'm wearing (couldn't resist), and two Topshop Dress-Up dresses! Then we went to one of our favorite restaurants and had an amazing lunch, yum. The boy then headed off to the office cause he's got loads to do and I headed home, now cuddleling with the pig and all happy cause of our perfect day. Now I'm looking into what we'll be doing tonight and thinking of what to wear :) Maybe fit in another shoe challenge? Maybe. Xoxo, Msveve
Shoe Challenge #160: Pillow talk
What: Melissa + Isabela Capeto flower sandals
Where: leaving the boy's parents' flat after dinner
Wearing: Topshop kimono dress, H&M tights, Mango bag
After a typical Friday night dinner at Cerreto we went to the Boy's parents' flat for a little bit so I could take a look at their computer, since they've been having some problems with it.. Anyhow, we were given a pillow. Yes, it's the one I'm holding. It is HUGE. Obviously I love it. (And the pillow cover has star constilations on it, rad.) Then we chilled at our flat for a while, finished watching Generation Kill, then we went to 'On' club and I said goodbye to my best friend. He is leaving the Czech Republic on Sunday. I'll miss him so much.. Buut I'm glad he's happy and he's moving to London so I'm jealous (in the good way) and wish him all the best.
Completely off topic, I seriously need to get my fringe trimmed, cannot see!

LUSTING AFTER
Shoe Challenge #159: Lazy as a Pig
What: Stradivarius summer wedges
Where: at home before heading off to work
Wearing: Zara jeans, Reserved top
A typical morning for us: both me and Mr. Piggy lazy as hell, me deciding what to wear, Mr. Piggy resting, then taking manditory pictures of outfit with shoes. Yeah, a bloggers morning, right? Then off to work (late as usual). Today I'm having a hard time concentrating on work, somehow my thoughts are drawn towards other things, like the book which I'm reading (Monday Mourning by Kathy Reichs), shoes I'm lusting after (Mango, wedged clogs with shearling detail, want them so bad but a bit helplessly since they don't ship to Czech Republic://), curernt sale offers at Office shoes and new autumn lines in my fave stores. Yes, today is very much about clothes and shoes. I'm thinking on about the upcoming season and absolutely dreading the colder weather to come. I still have SO MANY open toed shoes to get thru and then what? What will I be wearing in the winter?? I've worn most of my boots already and it's just depressing really. Anyways, enough of the rant and back to work, xoxo, MsVeve

Shoe Challenge #158: Miss Innocence
What: Zara jean bow detail wooden wedges
Where: out & about
Wearing: Bershka skirt, Zara tee, H&M tights
Currently I am treating a skin allergy (which I got on my vacation, lucky me. Ughh.) and so it's no make-up for me, hence the Miss Innocence. Gosh do I miss make-up though, like I feel so naked! And I miss the variety and choices and the fun I've always at least tried to have with it in the mornings. It's not that I'm like addicted to wearing make-up, but the lack of my decidion in the matter pisses me off. It's the not being allowed part. Yeah, we want what we cannot have. Luckily the allergy is almost over/gone/whatever so things should get back to norm for me soon. I hope. Shoe wise, I'v ehad these for about two years? I wear them time to time, but without tights they do tend to rub my poor feet where they have the buckle. Tights help.)

Shoe Challenge #156: Mountain Girl
What: Salamon mountain trainers
Where: Austria vacation
Wearing: mountain clothes (Zara jeans, Loap jacket, Topshop tee, Stradivarius bag)
As I've mentioned before, I spent some 10 days away on vacation to Austria. We spent most of the time discovering our surroundings (either by checking out the town, going to swim in the lake, on trips to wildparks etc., and a big part of the getaway was going to the mountains. Now, I'm no mountain girl, (I have "City Gal" written all over me, literally too.) But I did enjoy the views, the clean fresh air, the animals, the calm. Sometihing I'd wanna do all the time? No. Something that was nice to try out and maybe do again? Yes, definitely! (I'll be posting the rest of the photos on facebook.) These photos are just those I had of these shoes. Originally I wasn't gonna include them in the shoe challenge, but the Boy got them for me specifically for this vacation and so to show my thanks, here goes.

Shoe Challlenge #154: Rainbows and kisses
What: Office studded lace-up flats
Where: on the way to the cinema to see Horrible Bosses
Wearing: Topshop raincoat, H&M leather miniskirt, Mango bag, Topshop tights, Ray Ban glasses, H&M long sleeved tee, Zara white tee (underneath it all), Next umbrella
Although I'm not much of a rain girl, I do love me some rainbows and yesterday, there were two! (Though the pictures show only one.) Big thanks to the Boy for taking the pictures and for thinking up the idea of them in the first place. Looks like there's a photographer in him after all. (I usually have to do loads of convincing..). As for these shoes well, they're part of the order I placed before going on holiday. Office had like a major sale ale these cost something like 8 pounds? I love the studs! I'm all for studded shoes, obviously. If the shipping cost wasn't an issue I'd be buying loads more Office shoes, but alas, their prices for Czech Rep. aren't so sweet (God bless Asos, for their international free shipping!) xoxo, next post holiday photos!

Shoe Challenge #153: Back Home
What: Aukroed and DIYed Zara sandals
Where: out for a stroll & to get my nails done
Wearing: Stradivarius pants, H&M tee, Zara bag, Stradivarius sweater, A-zone "Cat 3" sunglasses
I still have a ton of vacation photos to sort through and all but I only saved one more pair of shoes while on holiday, so today I decided to get back to the challenge (stiill have SO MANY sandals + open toed shoes to go through it's scary!). I managed not to buy any shoes while on vacation BUT I order 10 pairs before I left, ops. (They all came by now, so am happy) plus I bought a pair of Melissas today, ehm. It's the last pair I swear! (Am also out of cash now so that won't be so hard, yeah..)
Shoe Challenge #152: Vacation Sandals
What: my trusty leather Bata sandals
Where: Austria, Bad KleinKircheim
Wearing: the Boy's sweater, Zara skirt, Topshop leggings, Zara tee, Zara bag, Boy's glasses
These sandals have been my go-to pair for ages, and last year I took them on my vacation to Tel Aviv (where they were a bit over-used), so this was the first time I wore them THIS year. But again they got their fair share of use during vacation. Austria is so beautiful...

Gone on Vacation
I'm leaving for my holiday tomorrow - early morning, yikes! - and will be gone until the 9th of August. There'll be no net connection there for me so won't be able to update until I return on Tuesday. Hope all will be well for everyone, xox,

Just Finished Reading
The second book from the Carrie Dairy series called 'Summer and the City'. I enjoyed it a lot more than I did the first Carrie Dairies book, because Carrie is now situated in New York and she's with Samantha, always my favorite. Though there were some parts that I found, well strange, considering the info one has via the show, but then again, this isn't really about the show, is it? Anyways, a nice summer read and although not one of the best books I've read, I did enjoy it and thus do recommend:)

Shoe Challenge #150: Red and Purple?
What: Zara suede wedges with bow detail
Where: university + stopped by Sephora.)
Wearing: Topshop dress and Topshop sweater, Stradivarius bag, Promod tights, Six earrings
I absolutely love these wedges, cause a) they're comfy, b) they're wedges and I'm all about wedges these days, c) they go with both red colors (thanks to the detail on the bow, that it goes into this seriously cute red color on the sides) and with purple (cause they're a very wine-red color otherwise). I stopped by uni to get a grade written into my index, and then dropped by Sephora to collect a bday gift (so nice of Sephora.) and then when I got home, I realized that I forgot my keys. Durr! Called my boy and he was luckily at work (which is close by to the flat) and he lent me his keys. I hate it when I forget things!

Shoe Challenge #149: Cowgirl
What: Zara DIYed two-tone brouges
Where: off to work
Wearing: Promod leathe rbow belt, Stradivarius button-down shirt, Bershka jeans, gifted watch
I went shopping yesterday and besides buying a pair of shoes (well, it's me right), I bought this shirt. I've been wanting to buy a denim shirt for a while but it's always been either the price wasn't right or the cut of the shirt, ot the color, or something. Well, anyways, yesterday I found the perfect shirt so, ta da. As for the shoes, they're from the Paris Zara, and they're a size too small, so I had to do a little DIY project on them. (Don't ask, it was A LOT of work!!) And I made myself a promise never to buy too small shoes again, not worth the later effort.))
Shoe Challenge #148: Killer Heels
What: Asos insanely high heels
Where: nowhere*
Wearing: DIYed dress, Reserved tights
I was gonna wear these out but honestly, they are impossible! The heel hieght is insane and the way the platform in the front is made so tiny, they are completely unstable. Thus killer heels (for the wearer). I still kinda love them thou, but possibly just for photos. With minimum walking involved. As for the dress, well, I added the bottom frill by myself, cause otherwise it was way too damn short. I took the frill front a different dress that looks way better without it. I love it when that happens:)

Shoe Challenge #146: Flower power
What: Irregular Choice wedges
Where: shopping with the boy
Wearing: Zara jeans, vintage belt, Stradivarius sweater, Zara basic tee, Stradivarius bag
With shoes that are as eye catching as these I decided to keep the outfit as simple as possible, meaning my favorite pair of jeans, a white v-neck tee and a mono-color sweater in nude.
These wedges really do do all the talking:)Perfection!
